About
Sol Tanne was an engineer, international management consultant, member of the New York Mercantile Exchange, financial advisor — and artist. He began serious study of art in the sculpture classes of Rotterdam Art Academy in The Netherlands in the 1960s when he had a consulting firm in Rotterdam. He continued after he returned to his native New York. Besides sculpture and print-making, he worked in watercolor, oil, and acrylic. He later worked mostly in pastel, specializing in portraits, figures, and still lifes.
HOW TO USE THIS WEBSITE ON A DESKTOP

Basic Navigation & Search Bar Basics
1. Navigate to the menu bars on the top left of the page. Click on the bars.
2. Navigate to "Artworks" and click.
3. You're now looking at the catalog in it's entirety! You can scroll through all the paintings. Once you find something you like, click the "CLICK HERE IF YOU WANT THIS PAINTING" button.
As you make your selections the number in your cart should rise according to the number of paintings you've selected. In the example to the right, I've added 4 paintings to my cart.
4. Once you've made your selection, navigate to your cart in the top right corner and click.
5. Here you will see your selection. Be sure to review your selections and make sure you're happy with what you've picked.
If you've changed your mind just click the X (I put a square around it in the visual).
If you're happy with what you've chosen and you're ready to submit your requests hit the "CHECKOUT" button at the bottom of the page.
6. Fill out your information in the blocks! The top might say that checkout is closed because we aren't set up to process payments, disregard that. Everything is free so there is no payment to process!
Once you get to Payments, just hit the "CONTINUE" button. No need to enter and card or PayPal information. Everything is free.
7. Click "PURCHASE".
This will take you to a page that says:
Once we've shipped your painting(s) you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can track your package(s).
How to use the Search Bar
In the top right of the site, you should always see a magnifying glass. If you're looking for a specific painting or something with specific qualities, you can search for it by clicking the magnifying glass, and typing in a word that is in the description on the painting. i.e.: "12x16", "signed", "pastel", "nude", "still life", etc.
You can also search for specific colors if you're trying to find something that will go well with a specific room.
